Welcome!      Using the multimedia capabilities available right now on the World Wide Web, ThirdNLong builds on the concept of the traditional coaching magazine, offering coaches a dynamic way to share ideas about coaching the game of football. I intend to publish ThirdNLong in quarterly "issues" on a web site. Each issues will contain articles, with accompanying diagrams and photos- what you would expect to find in a magazine for coaches. Unlike a magazine printed on paper, however, ThirdNLong will also include: Animated Diagrams- moving symbols that dynamically demonstrate the actions described in the text of the article. Video- the option to a view a short video clip will be a dramatic accompaniment to an article and will be available with just a mouse click.      Articles will cover topics of interests to coaches on all levels, from the collegiate down to the youth league. Contributors will be, for the most part coaches, though anyone may submit an article. To that end, any and all submissions are welcome (more on that later).
